This main venturi, also called a choke tube, is used in Weber 45 DCOE carburetors to control the effective airflow area through the carburetor barrel. Its bore size affects air velocity and the signal available to the main circuit, influencing fuel metering, high-load response, and the transition from progression into the main system.
A smaller venturi can increase airspeed and strengthen the metering signal at lower airflow, while a larger venturi can support greater airflow capacity with different calibration requirements. Select the bore size according to the engine’s airflow demand, camshaft characteristics, operating range, and existing carburetor calibration.
Available sizes are 28, 30, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, and 40 mm. Sold individually; price is for one main venturi. Provide the required size in the order message. A four-piece set is also available separately.
