Pump Diaphragm Spring for Weber 36/40/44/48 IDF, DCOM and EMPI HPMX - MPN 47600.250

This pump diaphragm spring is part of the accelerator-pump assembly in compatible Weber IDF/DCOM and EMPI HPMX carburetors. It works with the pump diaphragm to provide the required return force after throttle movement, helping the accelerator-pump circuit respond correctly during transient enrichment. A damaged, missing, or incorrect spring can affect diaphragm movement and contribute to inconsistent fuel discharge, hesitation, or poor throttle response.

MPN 47600.250 is intended for the pump diaphragm application rather than the main metering circuit, idle circuit, or fuel-level control system. Use it during accelerator-pump service when the original spring is damaged, distorted, corroded, or unavailable. The supported carburetor application references include Weber 36/40/44/48 IDF, DCOM, and EMPI HPMX; verify the exact carburetor variant and pump-cover arrangement before installation.

This replacement part is suitable for carburetor service and restoration work where the original component is worn, damaged, or missing.

Reference/MPN: 47600.250.

Technical role: Pump diaphragm return spring for the accelerator-pump assembly in Weber 36/40/44/48 IDF and DCOM carburetors and EMPI HPMX units.
Service relevance: Replaces a damaged, distorted, corroded, or missing spring that can affect diaphragm movement and accelerator-pump fuel discharge.

Made in EU.

Important Fitment Note

Verify the carburetor family and model marking before ordering, including IDF, DCOM, or EMPI HPMX identification and the 36/40/44/48 series reference where applicable. Confirm that the spring belongs in the accelerator-pump diaphragm assembly and compare its coil form, overall geometry, end configuration, and seating arrangement with the removed part. Also check the diaphragm, pump cover, and retaining interface for correct engagement; thread or seat details apply to the associated pump assembly rather than to the spring itself.

Compare the replacement with the removed spring before installation, especially if the carburetor has been modified or assembled from mixed components.
